We identify original wooden cases, large formats, fragile or high-value bottles, wines requiring special handling and inventory that may be better sold, consumed or moved separately.
We then translate the collection into a practical move plan. Bottles and cases can be grouped according to destination, cellar zone, region, producer or drinking priority. If the new cellar is still under construction, we can coordinate temporary professional storage without losing the chain of custody or the logic of the collection.
CONTROL THROUGH EVERY HANDOFF
OWC works alongside the collector, household manager, moving company, storage facility, cellar builder and other project professionals. We provide the wine-specific organization they are not expected to supply: packing sequences, case identification, inventory manifests, destination plans and clear accountability at every handoff.
When appropriate, we can supervise packing and loading, photograph case contents, flag condition concerns and maintain a working record of what has left, what is in transit, what is in storage and what has arrived. At the destination, OWC verifies deliveries against the outgoing inventory before bottles disappear into racks. We reconcile discrepancies, unpack systematically and organize the new room around the collector’s actual habits—not simply around whichever spaces are easiest to fill.
The collection can be arranged by type, country, region, varietal and producer, with precise digital locations and discreet physical labels. Daily drinkers, long-term holdings, original cases, large formats and high-value wines can each receive deliberate placement. The result is a cellar the collector can navigate immediately, with a digital catalog that agrees with the physical room.
