A lifelong interest in wine
My journey began with an “epiphany wine.” In 1999, while dining with my future wife at Circo in the Bellagio, a sommelier chose a 1988 Tignanello for us. I could smell it before it reached the table. That bottle set me on a lifelong path of wine discovery.
From cellar systems to personal service
My professional career in wine began as a partner at eSommelier. I created its Concierge services division to help collectors organize and catalog their cellars, work that expanded into acquisitions, valuations and liquidations.
Working directly with collectors was the part of the business I valued most. I sold my stake in eSommelier and founded OWC to focus on it exclusively.
Today, OWC is an independent wine collection management consultancy supporting the entire life of a collection: organization, cataloging, valuation, moves, acquisitions and thoughtful liquidation.
I earned WSET Level 2 with Merit and became a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
